About
Hey, my name is Chris McMahon and I am a Freelance Graphic Designer.
Graphic Design
I'm a 2015 graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Graphic Design.
For the past 4 years, I have been working with a Web/Media company located in Richmond, VA as a Social Media Coordinator. Basically, I handled a great variety of middle-sized Facebook pages (100k-900k followers), and the content they produced. I also was tasked with database management using Google Sheets and content creation using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro. To the right is what my manager had to say about me.
"Chris is extremely proficient at problem solving and often thinks outside the box in order to accomplish his objectives. He has a lot of experience in managing multiple tasks and objectives. He also has managed several high profile Facebook pages and is proficient in identifying high value content. Lastly, he has extensive experience in creating and managing spreadsheets that include complicated queries and scripts."

How Does the Pricing Work?
I have two main groups of packages: Single Project Packages, and Prepaid Retainer Packages.
Single Project Packages: paid in two installments, 50% immediately after we sign the contract for the project, and 50% at the end, right before I hand off all project files back to you.
Prepaid Retainer Packages: paid in two installments per payment period, 100% of the prepaid hours at the start of the period, (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly,) and another payment at the end of the period, for any hours over the agreed upon amount. (Don't worry, I'll let you know as we progress through the period how many hours you have left of your prepaid package.) Also, the "over" hours from the previous period and the prepaid portion for the next period can be combined.

What are Prepaid Retainer Packages?
Prepaid Retainer Packages: Packages with a set number of hours in a given period, (Weekly, Biweekly, Monthly,) where my time always will belong to the client. e.g. If RandomCo. buys the 3-Hour/Week plan, I will set aside 3 hours of the week to RandomCo. to finish any number of projects they have. If the projects they request go over 3 hours, the hourly rate will switch from the reduced Prepaid rate back to my normal hourly rate. (Details listed on package.) Prepaid clients always have my top priority.

Who are Prepaid Retainer Packages Designed For?
These packages are designed for clients who have a semi-consistent amount of graphic design work to be done, but want to make budgeting easier for most months. Because of the prepaid nature of these projects, I am able to give a reduced hourly rate in exchange for a consistent workload. I know that sometimes, however, you will have projects that need just a little more time than we had planned. Any hours after the prepaid period will return to my normal hourly rate. (Which is still quite a bit lower than other freelance Graphic Designers.)

What If I Want A Different Amount Of Prepaid Hours Than Are Listed?
I am open to discussion. I will try to make something that can work for both of us.
-
Will the unused hours carry over?
No, I'm sorry. By paying in advance, I am scheduling out time specifically to work for you.
